One of the things I love about my job is getting a glimpse into the amazing lives of amazing people.  This family is just…wonderful, and I came away thinking what beautiful people they all are, inside and out.  They have beautiful hearts.  We had a blast at Clear Creek History Park in Golden, CO, walking around with their beautiful dogs (SO well behaved!  They put my dog to shame!) and enjoying the start of the gorgeous fall weather.  Thank you for the absolute honor of spending time with you guys and allowing me to create images for your family!  Until next time!!

This was a quicker session than we had planned, but OH, so fun!  And by the end we were all soaked.  Sometimes, there is only so much you can do to plan for the weather, but I am SO thankful for the AWSOMENESS of this wonderful family.  They were such troopers and good sports despite the rain.  Taking time out from their travels visiting Colorado, we stopped at Chautauqua Park in Boulder and played on the hill before the thunderstorm chased us back to our cars.  One cool thing was that Chautauqua Park was the emptiest I’ve ever seen it, so we had lots of space to run and play.  Thanks again for an awesome Boulder session you guys!

I have had the pleasure of creating pictures for this lovely family before; I believe this is my third party with them.  They have always been a pleasure, but this specific afternoon when we met, there was something magical in the air.  The fall air was warm but kind of crisp, and the boys just had fun running up and down the path at East Lake Shores Park.  I am always, always blessed by these guys and can’t wait to watch these two handsomes grow up!

Oh, and the eyes!  They just SMILE at you, don’t you think?

There are times as a photographer when everything just clicks.  (Umm…pardon the pun.)  You find yourself working with an ridiculously fun family (and a gorgeous one at that) and in a place where “beautiful” as a description only begins to scratch the surface.  This session at Red Rocks just outside of Denver, Colorado was just such a perfect scenario.  When Steph called me to schedule her family photo session, I knew I was in for a treat.  She’s a childhood friend of one of my best friends and I knew enough about her family to start anticipating the good times I knew were in store for me.  I was not disappointed.  Just check out the sweet faces of the little ones….and the goofy faces, too!

Show me those BIG muscles!

How’s the below pic for a family Christmas card picture?  Can you say S-W-E-E-T?

THANK YOU for allowing me to share in this beautiful Colorado fall day at Red Rocks with you and record your family memories!

I’m a lucky girl!
